"Haenen, beta uth bhi jao!!" Sara bibi tried to wake her younger daughter up, who was sleeping without any care in the world.

"Woh log aate he honge" she said as she pulled Haneen's blanket away.
"Kya hai ammi!?" She finally woke up, her brows were furrowed in frustration . Her hairs were a mess and her face was covered pillow crease.
"Ladke wale aate he honge. Utho ab!! Itna kaam hai" Sara bibi said panicking as she picked Haneen's clothes off the floor.
"Ammi shant!! Ladke wale appi ko dekhne aa rhe hai, mujhe nhi." Haneen said as she ploped herself on the bed again.
"Aur waise bhi itne mulazim Abba ne kyu rakhe hai, jb apne panic he hona hai" she added.

"Mujhe apni baaton mai na phsao or utho bistar se" Sara bibi said in the stern voice and left the room, knowing that Haneen has woken up. And she would be downstairs in a bit.

"Sahi hai bhai, shaadi kisi or ki ho. Or pisse koi or" Haneen said loudly before she opened her phone and checked her social media. She scrolled for few moments before finally leaving her bed and headed towards washroom to get ready of the day.

When Haenen finally stepped downstairs, her eyes turned wide. The whole house was chaos. Servants moved left and right with clothes, food and flowers. Someone was cleaning and someone was moping the floor.

"Ya'Allah kya hogya hai inn logo ko! Ladke wale aa rhe hai koi shezada toh nhi aa rha" Haneen said as she sat herself on the dinning table and helped herself with the cold toast.

"Uth gyi tum!!" Her sister, Ramsha said who was standing in the middle of the room, her hairs in the roller on top of her head. Her face was covered with a green face mask. And Haneen thought if Jalal bhai, her soon to be husband saw her like that. Would he still bring his family to ask for Ramsha's hand?.

"Ye kya hal bnaya hua tumne apna?" She said as she ploped the piece of bread in her mouth.

"Ye swal mujhe tumse krna chahiye! Ye kya phena hua hai tumne!!" Ramsha asked.
Haneen looked down towards her perfect oversized t shirt and trousers.

"Kya burai hai issme?" She asked, disbelieving her words.

"Jldi utho or wo kapde pheno jo maine tumhare bed pe rkhe hai" Ramsha threatened her.

"Pta nhi iss ghar ke logo ko kya hogya!! Rishta tumhara aa rha hai, or khwar mai ho rhi hu" Haneen said as she discarded her half eaten toast and went to her room.

"Are Hannen beta ruko. Kaha itne gusse mai ja rhi ho" Umer sahab asked as he looked at her daughters, red nose.

"Kya baba, log appi ko dekhne aa rhe or ammi or appi mujhe pgl bna rhi hai" she complained.
"Jldi utho, ache kapde pheno. Mera pura sunday khrab kr diya" she added.

"Acha ab gussa na ho. Tumhari appi or ammi bss thodi nervous hai. Ab jao ache baache ki trah ready hojao " Umer sahab said as he pat her head. It was no secret that Haneen was the favourite child of Umer sahab ans since childhood Haneen was coddled and spoiled by her father. Unlike Ramsha who was responsible and patient, Hannen was a walking havoc. And everybody around her was well aware of it.

Haneen finally made up to her room and lock the door behind her. Her eyes travelled towards the beautiful suit set on her bed. It was lilac in colour and had thick laces on it, it was simple yet it heavy at the same time.
Hannen groaned as she picked up suit and get changed.

Haneen was dressed up in her suit, she glided the mascara wand on her eyelashes, and coated her lips with a nude lipstick which she borrowed from her sister. Her brown hair flowed as she brushed it up. She picked up the earring from her messy dressing table and put it on, one by one. The white stone dangled from her ears as she pulled her hairs behind her ear. She scratched her neck as she looked at herself one last time before she decided to join guest downstairs, who just has just arrived.

She stepped down the stairs and came face to face with three women, and one of them was hugging Sara bibi. And in the far corner stood Jalal Haider, his shirt neatly pressed and tucked in. His gaze expectantly moved towards the stairs, hoping to catch the glimpse of Ramsha.
"Assalamwalekum" Haneen wished as she stepped closer.
The oldest among the three looked at Hannen with pure adoration. She was grandmother of Jalal, Zehra Bano, the oldest member of Haider family. On her right stood her daughter in law, Safiya Bano, mother of Jalal and on her left stood her daughter, Yasmeen.
"Walekumasalam" they all wished back.
"Mashallah!! Haneen kitni badi or khoobsurat hogyi hai" Safiya Bano said as she stepped closer and engulfed Haneen in her arms.
Haneen wasn't really familiar with Haider family, but she knew they were really close friends of Baba, she didn't really remember any of them properly. It has been more than decades since she have last interacted with any Haider.
"Bilkul! Aisa lgta hai ki kl ki he baat ho ye Abdar ko sataya krti thi" Zehra Bano said her face glowing with love.

Haneen felt her cheeks redenned at the mention of the memory, she clearly didn't remember.

"Aap sabh baithe mai aapi ko lekar aati hu" Haneen said as she made her way upstairs and barged into her sister's room.

"Tumhare sasural wale aa gye hai" Haneen said as she flopped down on the mattress.

"Aagye wo?" Ramsha with panic on her face, eyeliner still in her hand.
"Chill kro, maut ka farishta nhi aaya hai" she replied
"Tum or tumhari baate, Haneen" Ramsha shook her head and added, "Ab utho or help kro meri. Jumke dhundo mere"

Haneen groaned as she shuffled through the jewellery box.

"Waise Abdar kon hai?" Haneen asked
"Kyu pooch rhi ho?" Ramsha asked still trying to get her eyeliner right.
"Tumhari badi saas bol rhi thi ki mai usse bhot pareshan kiya krti thi bachpan mai" she said
"Sach keh rhi hai wo. Tum pgl thi uske peeche, or ab dekho wo tumhe yaad bhi nhi" then she added, "Jalal ka bada bhai hai wo. Koi ajeeb he aadmi hai"

"Kyu?" Haneen couldn't help but ask.
This time Ramsha turned towards her and said, ,"30 ka hogya hai or shaadi bhi nhi ki abhi tk. Sirf yu hi kaam mashruf rehta. Ek no. Ka workoholic hai"
"Woh toh acha hai ussne meri or Jalal ki side le li. Wrna usske ghar wale toh uski shaadi phele krwana chahte the "

"Insaan thodi sharam he kr leta hai appi. Unhone apke liye or Jalal bhai ke liye stand liya or aap unhe he aisa bol rhi",
"Or ho skta hai unhe koi pasand ho" Haneen said as she gave her sister the pair of jhumka that would suit her pistachio coloured suit with silver work on it.

"Acha ab mujhe bhashad na do, Haneen" Ramsha said and slipped the earrings. "Kaisi lg rhi hu mai?" She asked.
"Bhot pyaari" Haneen said with a small smile.

"Ladkiyon!! Mehman neeche intezar kr rhe hai or tum dono baate kr rhe ho. Jldi neeche aao dono" their mother said from the doorway.

"Chlo" Haneen said as she grabbed her older sister's hand and descend stairs.
Everybody looked at her.
Just as they reached living room, Safiyan begum hugged Rashma just as she did Haneen few moments ago.
"Bhot pyaari lg rhi ho" she whispered

One by one Rashma hugged everybody and wished Salam. Just as she hugged Yasmeen, phupho of Jalal. Her khol covered eyes travelled to Jalal standing few steps back.
"Assalamwalekum" she said slowly to him.
"Walekumasalam" he replied back, his lips tipped up in a smile.

Everybody took their seat as they continued their conversation with a hot cup of Chai. They were so engrossed they didn't even notice two lovers shyly looking at each other.

And soon they were sent to talk privately on the terrace. While Haneen stick to her seat beside her mother, secretly scrolling through social media.

Umer sahab shortly join them after coming from masjid.
"Abdar nhi aaya?" He asked as he took seat on one of the couch.
"Ji bhai. Bhot musruf rehta hai aaj kl. Ussne salam bheja hai" Safiya begum said

"Walekumasalam, Mashallah apke dono bete kamyab hogye hai" he appraised.

"Ab kaam ki baat pr aaye, Umer sahab" Zeher bano said.

Umer sahab straightned as he motioned her to continue. Beside him Sara bibi stiffened, nervous to hear the next word.

"Hume apki beti bhot pasand aayi. Or Hume ye rishta qabool hai " Zehra bano finished.

Smile took over the room, and women hugged and gave Mubarak to each other.

"Jao Haneen beta, Ramsha or Jalal ko bulao or mulazim ko bolo mithai lai."

"Ji baba" Haneen said as she moved towards the terrace.
